Worship

Worship is at 10am each Sunday. Dress is casual. Children are very welcome in worship and there is an activity section for young children.

Different Sundays have different worship styles:

On the first and second Sundays of each month, worship centers on a reflection (sermon). In addition to hymns and prayers, there are opportunities to share joys and concerns and to respond to the service. On first Sundays, we also celebrate communion and all are welcome to participate. Coffee and snacks are in the back of the sanctuary. Feel free to partake during the service as well as afterwards. To attend by zoom, click on the link in the website footer.

On the third Sundays of each month, we have Wild Church. We worship outside with Nature, and a period of Wandering and Wondering on the land replaces the reflection. Children love these services. While Christian, these services intentionally make space for other spiritualities.

We gather by the barn - walk straight back through the gate from the parking lot. If you use mobility aids, it is possible to drive back to the barn, and several of us “wander” from our seats rather than moving throughout the property.

Feel free to bring whatever makes you comfortable - a camp chair, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray - and we have these to share as well.

On the fourth Sundays of each month, we have Taize worship. These services feature meditative singing and periods of silent prayer as well as scripture and liturgical prayers.

Some of us love the contemplative nature of these services. Some of us miss the sharing and interaction of our regular worship, and so we have our monthly potluck following this service. You are welcome to share in this meal with us, whether or not you bring anything.
